Rear Shock Air Can Service

Price:
Sale price$109.00

Description

Best for: restoring small-bump sensitivity, improving mid-stroke support, and keeping air shocks running smoothly.

Air rear shocks rely on clean seals and fresh lubrication to perform correctly. Over time, dirt and moisture work their way into the air can, increasing friction and reducing suspension performance — even if the shock still “works.”

This service refreshes the air can portion of your rear shock, improving feel and reliability without a full damper rebuild.

What’s included

  • Removal of rear shock (when required)

  • Air can disassembly

  • Internal cleaning of air sleeve and seals

  • Replacement of air can seals (when available)

  • Proper lubrication of seals

  • Reassembly and air pressure reset

  • Basic function and leak check

What this service improves

  • Smoother initial stroke

  • Better traction and compliance

  • Reduced stiction and noise

  • More consistent shock feel throughout travel

What’s NOT included (quoted if needed)

  • Damper rebuilds or internal cartridge service

  • Piggyback reservoir service

  • IFP or nitrogen charging

  • Structural shock repairs

If deeper service is recommended, you’ll receive a clear explanation and quote before any work proceeds.
